MARYLAND DOOM FEST 2020 Cancellation Details

The Maryland Doom Fest – 2020 Cancellation Details

Fans & Friends-

We are extremely saddened to report that MD Doom Fest 2020 will be cancelled due to a zillion reasons, some of which include the current state of the world.

Although we tried to remain optimistic and reschedule the event, the current state venue restrictions and mandates make even lesser size, multi-day events nearly impossible to coordinate safely. The safety of our fans and friends is of greatest importance, which is the foremost reason the festival will be cancelled this year.

The intent for MDDF 2021 is to showcase a majority of the 2020 lineup. Next year’s dates are June 17-20, 2021. Any and all 2020 tickets will be honored for 2021 regardless of inflation. Please mark your calendars, stay extremely safe, and prepare to Doom your asses off in June 2021!!

For the rest of 2020, we will have two small events – the first is a celebration show for Scott “Wino” Weinrich’s 60th birthday on September 26th at Cafe 611. The second event is a Halloween Night costume party and concert.

Keep following the MDDF Facebook page for more news on both shows. We hope you’ll join us for a great – and safe – time.

Thank you all!! You are the ones who keep the Doom scene alive and strong!! Be safe, take care of yourself and take care of your fellow humans. We can’t wait to party with you.
